Babolat Technical Veron padel racket
La recensione l’avevamo fatta a suo tempo per la versione precedente della Technical Veron ma è uscita la nuova.
We tried it and, on balance, we have noticed some small general improvements, such as a better “premium” racket feel in the hand.
Besides that we have found the new model slightly more manoeuvrable and responsive during the game, but it is a difference that is noticeable on long games or by trying both rackets back to back.
For the rest the old and new version are extremely similar, with new graphics and colors.
We decided to write this paragraph to underline the differences but, apart from these small details, everything we wrote about the old model remains valid.
For this reason, I leave you with our review of the Technical Veron model, enjoy reading!
The materials
As per the script, the tubular structure is in carbon fiber, classic material that we find on all rackets of a certain level.
There face instead, is a mixture of carbon fiber and fiberglass, in a combination that the manufacturer has called carbon flex.
This type of compound should combine the elasticity of the glass fiber with the stiffness of the carbon, taking the best of the two.
Inside we find the Black EVA rubber, a type certainly not common to many models that we will find out later how it affects the game.
There's really nothing to say about the materials, Babolat hasn't skimped and we're fully satisfied in this respect.
Shape
Finding ourselves in front of a very aggressive pro racket, we are not at all surprised by the choice of design with which it was built.
The shape is diamond (here the explanation) with a balance strongly shifted towards the tip, in order to generate a very high force.
Everything we've seen so far points in the direction of a racket rather hard to tame, but often the theory deceives.
To find out how all these components work, all we have to do is throw ourselves into a good field test.
How it goes on the pitch
Power, power and more power, this screams Babolat in its design and is echoed by Techinical Veron as she takes the field in this review.
The outgoing blows are always of a very high force, but without ever perceiving that stiffness typical of full carbon rackets.
The fiberglass feels and gives that pinch of elasticity that never hurts, but we must not be deceived.
This racket is sometimes really punishing if you don't control it well, throwing balls at the baseline.
While we've seen racquets suited to both pros and beginners in the past, the Tecnical Veron isn't one of them, so plan accordingly.
The advice is to buy it only if you are at least an intermediate-range padelist, certainly not before the first year on the fields.

Other rackets from Babolat's Veron series
Babolat is a well-known tennis equipment brand and offers several lines of tennis rackets, including the technical, Air And Counter Veron.
The series technical is designed to offer a exceptional power grazie all’uso di materiali resistenti e alla distribuzione del peso nella parte superiore della racchetta. Ciò rende questa serie ideale per i giocatori che cercano di colpire con una impressive strengthwithout losing control of the ball.
There Air seriesInstead, it is designed to be light and handy, offrendo un’esperienza di gioco più facile e adatta alla voleé. Questa serie utilizza materiali leggeri per reduce racquet weight and favour manoeuvrability, allowing players to react quickly to incoming balls.
Finally, the Counter Veron series is designed to provide superior ball control. This series uses a horseshoe-shaped design to increase the racket precision and the ability to place the ball exactly where the player wants it. The weight distribution at the bottom of the racquet also makes it easier to handle low-speed shots.
In general, the choice of series will depend on the individual player game preferences. If you are looking for a racquet that offers power, the Technical series may be the best choice. If you prefer a lighter and more maneuverable racquet, the Air series might be more suitable. If you want more control over the ball, the Counter Veron series might be the right choice.
Conclusions
The Babolat Technical Veron has proven itself in this review to be truly a wild foal kicking hard and does not want to be tamed.
Of course, for those who are familiar with the racket there will never be too many problems, but for others the desire to switch to a model suitable for control could soon arise.
In general we can pass this shovel with flying colors, being great for pros, so our vote remains very positive.
We hope we helped you decide on this racket and you want to share our article in your padel group :)
