Today we go to see in detail the padel Head Flash racket, one of the cheapest models that can be found on the market.

Of course, it is actually possible to go and find models that cost even less but, on balance, under this figure it is really difficult to find tools worthy of being purchased.

We at Racchettiamo establish that the minimum budget is around 60/70 euros, cent plus cent less, under which it is highly not recommended to go fishing.

Without lingering further, let's see how the padel Head Flash racquet performs in our full review.

Head Flash Padel

As in all of our reviews, we will go into 3 main aspects such as shape, materials and behavior in the field in detail. This triptych determines the validity of the tool as it defines its behavior and its duration over time despite the stresses it will undergo.

The materials

The Head flash is a very reasonably priced racquet, therefore it is logical not to expect a particularly high level of materials.

However, despite this, Head gives us a carbon frame of which we were not sure of the presence, which surprised us positively.

The face is then made of fiberglass, not the best ever but absolutely in line with other models on the same price range or even more expensive.

Where this racket gives way is on the core, that FOAM that doesn't drive us crazy although it has some playable advantages over the EVA.

In general we can define ourselves quite satisfied with what we have seen here, with good materials and a hair above the average price.

Shape

The shape is another point on which we didn't expect big surprises, as it is difficult to see strange experiments on a model that costs so little.

We found ourselves in front of a racket a drop naked and raw (here the explanation), which is fine and needs no further additions.

Strange mixtures between diamond, round and drop can be interesting and make a good marketing, but here we pay attention to the point for an entry level model.

The teardrop shape is certainly the most appropriate, as it will be able to satisfy a larger number of players thanks to its great versatility.

How it goes on the pitch

We have to be frank before this review we were rather biased thinking that we would be faced with little more than a toy branded Head.

The very first prices certainly cannot be tools for life, as they often have rather marked gaps that soon become a limit.

Head has some of these things, but they are not noticeable until you have passed several levels and become experienced intermediates.

For beginners this racket is really good, indeed! We could go so far as to say that it is perhaps the best ever in the 60 euro range.

Finding something that handles so well, is made with quality and has no major flaws, is a very pleasant surprise we found here.

Of course, that FOAM is not the best and becomes tight for an intermediate who knows how to hit well but, as mentioned before, this is not a racket for seasoned players.

The Head Flash is a padel racquet that aims to satisfy beginners as much as possible in search of their first tool and, we must say, succeeds perfectly.

Head Flash Padel Pro

There is also a Pro version of the Head Flash, which is very similar to the base but at a higher price.

This is obviously not a casual price increase, but is due to greater product care and higher quality materials.

In general, this is a racket that allows the player to grow, having more margins available.

If the basic Head Flash could soon be perceived as "tight", the limit of this is felt after a longer time (but it also depends on the player).

Better than the base, but still an entry level model.

Conclusions

On balance we can only recommend the purchase of the Head Flash to all those who come to padel for the first time, without exception.

After the first year or two it will start to get tight and it may be time to change it, but by then the money spent will have been amply repaid.

Not suitable for those who have been playing padel for a long time or for those aiming for the top, it remains a little gem that stands out on the low end of the market with authority.
