This introduction actually seems very flattering and difficult to respect but, once discovered in the field, you understand the reason for this statement.

We don't mean to say that it is without flaws, since any racket has some, but it is aimed at a certain type of well-defined audience.

Head Graphene Alpha Ultimate review

The fundamental points to always take into due consideration when buying a racket are its shape, materials and how it behaves on the court. That's why we at Racchettiamo expressly focus on these points in our reviews.

Head Graphene 360 Alpha Ultimate
  • Equilibrio medio e ottimo punto debole per la versatilità del gioco.
  • Perforazioni distribuite per leggerezza e manovrabilità in raffiche e vassoi.
  • Costruzione durevole con fibra di vetro e tecnologia Graphene 360.

The materials

The Graphene series from Head is one absolute guarantee of quality, as they all meet very high minimum standards.

First the tubular structure is in carbon, normal for all rackets from a certain price onwards.

The real difference, however, lies in the surface contact with the ball, which is usually in graphene on this line but here is in fiberglass.

The material is more flexible, also giving a better dynamism to the response and a really good durability over the years.

The inside is filled with Power Foam rubber, which releases more power than the others, for a more aggressive game.

Shape

The shape, unlike other models in this line, here really leaves no room for doubt and the house itself confirms this.

The decision fell on the drop (here the explanation)which is right marriage of power and control without ever exceeding.

A small note of merit, although useless for the purposes of the game, must be made to truly remarkable stylistic design which impressed us a lot.

This model therefore seems to be an excellent compromise between rackets, positioning itself however in a very competitive market segment.

How it goes on the pitch

This on-court racket is truly unbeatable at one thing, and that is forgive the exuberance of the players too impetuous.

Although it is not devoted to control, on more than one occasion we have found ourselves exaggerating a bit with the stroke, only to be forgiven by its excellent elasticity.

For this reason we recommend this racket to players who find it difficult to dose, who will find in it a faithful ally.

For all the others instead? Well, we're not stitched up to find too many reasons to buy it, other than its beautiful graphics.

There are in this price range models like the Touch Alpha Pro (reviewed here) that are superior to them, albeit a little more dated, with the competition widening if we leave the confines of Head.

Still remains a good one racket that we do not reject, but maybe it should have cost a little less to really be a point of reference.

Conclusions

If you're used to shooting balls into hyperspace, then this model might help you get the hang of it, but even it doesn't work miracles.

For all the rest, there are other models that we have reviewed here on Racchettiamo that are more or less large in front of you.

A good product which remains one and only a good product, but will never go further unless you don't lose weight by 20 or 30 € on the final price.
