Today we want to compare two top of the range in the world of padel, namely the Wilson Bela Pro and the Wilson Bela Elite.
These are racquets designed for professional or expert players of this game, even if nothing prevents a beginner from buying it.
As we will see in this comparison, there is a clear difference between the two, with a racquet that suits everyone and a much more difficult one to handle.
As always we will try to give you a 360-degree overview of these products to allow you to make the best possible choice when purchasing.
Wilson Bela Pro vs Wilson Bela Elite
Before throwing ourselves into talking about a specific model, we would like to say a few words about the quality of these two racquets.
The entire frame and face of these rackets is made of carbon fiber, quality reserved only for the top models of the best brands.
They both have one shape a drop (here the explanation), which seems to be very close to them but, as we will discover, this is not the case at all.
The series is inspired by the player Fernando Belasteguin, one of the best (or possibly the best) padel player of all time.
They are the spearheads of Wilson as already mentioned and, for this reason, it is reasonable to expect great things once taken in hand.

Wilson Bela Elite
This is the racket that, without going around it too much, we liked the most of the two and that we would recommend to everyone.
Here, we said it dry and without too many euphemisms, the Wilson Bela Elite is a racket designed for any player.
Yes, of course we are talking about a model of almost 300 euros, but the price is not a relevant factor when it comes to top models, being that they are all more or less expensive.
What we are referring to is his incredible malleability, ability to forgive also the exuberances and one ball out really crazy.
This racket we feel we can say is the essence of teardrop rackets, as it doesn't really have any notable weaknesses.
Easy to manage, capable of generate spin, perfect for reasoned play but with an incredible ability to offend if you are looking for power.
Rarely have we been faced with such a well-balanced model, so much so that it seems to us the definitive racket for practically any player.
Not the best ever, nor the most powerful nor the sweetest, but we challenge anyone to find a better balanced product than this.
If we were allowed to choose one and only one racket for an entire career in padel (from beginner to pro), then we would go with our eyes closed on this one.

Wilson Bela Pro
There Wilson Bela Pro instead, as I imagine you could have understood from what was said in the previous paragraph, it is not a shovel for everyone.
We have to admit we were a little surprised to see what it loses in favor of what it buys, as we're not sure it was worth the trade.
This is a shovel much stiffer than the Elite, which is much less forgiving in favor of a significant, but not staggering, power boost.
This is not a racket for everyone, but only for experienced players who perfectly know how to dose a shot, otherwise the error comes relentless.
Of course, we are still faced with a Wilson teardrop shovel, which means less rigid than a diamond or other similar models from competing brands, but she is still very nervous.
The increase in power is not that great to justify the loss of the sweet spot (now very skimpy) and the worst ball exit.
We are sure that many players will love this model madly, but we would never recommend it to a beginner or a player who is making the transition to intermediate.
At this link instead, you will find the best padel rackets ever!
Conclusions
There Wilson Bela Elite and the Wilson Bela Pro they are two absolutely exceptional models, born to be great and that fully achieve their goal.
In all this, however, we feel the gods elect a clear winner in this confrontation, and it is the Wilson Bela Elite.

The differences are not abysmal but still substantial and, net of a different philosophy between the two, we do not think the Pro has turned off enough towards the power.
In short, the Elite is a dream for those who love a well balanced shovel while, the Pro, should have become the option of choice for those who love power.
In the current state of affairs, the Elite manages to do everything well while, the Pro is a bit more powerful but forgoes many other features.
We would have liked to see Wilson go a little more daring with the Pro, aiming for more power and making a clean break between the two.
So instead, they are far too similar in philosophy to justify two distinct models. Also, in direct comparison, the Elite wins hands down.
